About Me

I was born on January 25, 1991, in Düsseldorf, Germany. My father's roots trace back to Nordic Europe from the 1780s, while my mother hails from Croatia. This rich heritage has significantly shaped my identity and perspectives.
 

Since January 2022, I have been married to my childhood friend, who is currently the coach of the French national swimming team. She owns a sports complex in Paris, which generates an annual income of €2,500,000 as of 2026. The complex features three large swimming pools, a three-floor fitness center, and facilities for football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and a running zone across three different areas. Our supportive marriage includes collaboration between my business, JLX, and her sports complex. We also share our bank accounts.
 

Throughout my career, I have worked in traditionally male-dominated fields. I began in sales at Hitachi Construction Machinery in Tokyo, Japan (2012-2015) and later at Thyssenkrupp in the Gulf Region and France (2015-2017, 2020-2023). My experience includes positions at IBM in London (2017-2019), Nordcloud HQ in Helsinki (2019-2022), and as a finance manager at Miele AG in Germany (2016-2018). At Miele AG, I encountered traditional gender role barriers that limited my advancement.
 

Since February 2011, I have held a 50% stake in my father's finance and insurance offices. He proposed that I take on the CFO role to address the challenges I faced. My primary professions are in finance and sales, and I've worked at these organizations at different times to build a strong foundation of career knowledge.
 

I currently own a competitive outdoor and sporting goods company, JLX Sport, and a fitness supplements company, JLX Supplements, targeting the German and French markets. We have a market share in outdoor clothing and sporting goods, and we entered the fitness equipment market for homes and studios in December 2026. We plan to expand to England, Scotland, and Croatia on June 1, 2026, and to Finland and Japan on June 10, 2027.
 

I possess advanced knowledge in global economics and financial risk management, as well as moderate knowledge in psychology. My native language is German, and I speak nine other languages fluently, including English, Japanese, Chinese, and French. I used to translate 250 pages per month for various clients and am currently learning Croatian, Spanish, and Russian.

As a professional athlete, I have won a total of 50 medals in Taekwondo, running, and swimming since 2002, sponsored by Puma, Adidas, and Speedo. I aim to conclude my sports career with a total of 60 to 65 medals.
 

In March 2024, I was appointed as the leader for economic growth across our family businesses in Germany, Croatia, Japan, and France, due to my extensive expertise in global economics, finance, international sales, and cultural awareness. We are also expanding into Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, England, Scotland, and Finland.

Our businesses operate across various sectors, including outdoor and sporting goods, fitness supplements, fitness centers, and sports complexes (including swimming centers, fitness centers, and multi-sport zones). We are also involved in finance, insurance, technology, communication (which encompasses corporate communication and interpreter services), as well as the restaurant, café, dessert shop, and bar industries, with a presence in Germany, Croatia, France, Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, England, and Scotland.

Additionally, I am building a luxurious sports complex on my land in Nordrhein-Westfalen for my wife, Juliette, which began construction in April 2025. This complex will feature three zones: a three-floor swimming pool (including an Olympic pool and two large swimming pools), a multi-sport zone (with tennis courts, basketball courts, football fields, and volleyball areas), and a three-floor fitness center. The swimming pool is scheduled to be completed in July 2025, while the fitness center is expected to finish in December 2025. The construction for the fitness center includes a dedicated floor for aerobic and spinning classes, providing a comprehensive fitness experience.

My hobbies include daily hiking, monthly travel, maintaining marine aquariums (I have a 1000-liter marine reef aquarium in Kirchhörde, Dortmund, and a 250-liter aquarium in Belleville, Paris), gardening, and regularly attending pubs and concerts on Fridays and Saturdays.
